Hi crafty friends, Marine here, I’m so very happy to be back on the blog with this shiny pastel winter card showcasing multiple items from the Pretty Pink Posh November release. How fun it was to put this Igloo Shaker together and create this magical purple Birch Trees background! Hope you like it!

And speaking of the background, I worked on it first and cut a Pierced Snowflake panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock. I covered it with salvaged patina oxide ink, mixed copic opaque white ink with water, added white splatters all over the panel, and then did the same with liquid stardust. While my panel was drying, I cut five Birch Trees out of purple cardstock, and five more out of white glitter cardstock. I added white splatters and liquid stardust splatters to each purple tree, and once they were dry, I attached a purple tree to a white glitter tree using liquid glue, shifting the trees a bit to get a white border on the left side of each of them. And I wanted my Birch Trees to still have some leaves attached to them, so I used Nature Essentials dies to cut them out of aqua cardstock and silver glitter cardstock to make my background even more magical. I added white splatters and sparkling splatters to the aqua leaves, and then attached the Birch Trees and leaves to my Pierced Snowflake panel using 1mm foam squares.

To ground my Igloo Shaker, I cut a 4,25 inches piece of white cardstock, cut two Snowy Hills Borders out of it, one being taller than the other one, added liquid stardust splatters to both pieces, and set them aside to dry. And even though my Igloo Shaker wasn’t built yet, I knew I wanted to decorate it with lights, so I used Christmas Holder Additions dies to cut a string out of grey cardstock and lights out of purple, pink and aqua cardstock. I added white splatters to the string, attached the lights to the string using liquid glue, and then applied white blizzard nuvo drops to each light. And with the card I had in mind, I also knew that I would need something at each bottom corner, so I used another Christmas Holder Additions die to cut two trees out of a pink pattern paper, two more out of white glitter cardstock, I attached a pink tree to a white sparkling tree using liquid, and then set everything aside to finally work on my Igloo Shaker, following those steps:

1. I cut an Igloo Shaker frame out of holographic cardstock using both dies from the set,
2. I cut a whole igloo out of acetate, added white splatters all over it, and once dry, attached it at the back of the holographic igloo frame,
3. Still at the back of the igloo, I attached foam strips all around it, following the rounded shape, and also on each little dividing section of the igloo,
4. I poured Pastel Blizzard confetti and Marshmallow shaker beads inside each section,
5. I cut another whole igloo out of a light pink pattern paper, peeled all the backing papers off the foam strips, and attached that pink igloo to the strips to close my Igloo Shaker.

Next I assembled a few things on my panel, starting with the taller Snowy Hills Border that I attached directly to the bottom sections of the trees using liquid glue. Next I stuck my Igloo Shaker using liquid glue at the bottom and 1mm foam squares at the top, and then the smaller Snowy Hills Border using 2mm foam squares. I attached the string of lights and trees using foam squares again, and then worked on my greetings. I white heat embossed “Warmest wishes” from Sentiment Strips: Christmas on dark grey cardstock, cut it into a slim banner using a Sentiment Strips die, and then attached that banner at the bottom of my card using 1mm foam squares. I used the Winter Greetings Shadow die set to create my giant greeting. I cut “Winter greetings” out of pink cardstock, and cut the shadows out of pearlescent vellum. I stuck the pink words to the shadows using liquid glue, attached them both right above the Igloo Shaker, and finally applied glossy accents to the words to make them super shiny and pop against the purple Birch Trees.

Hello! Christina here to share some Christmas tea with you! This merry and bright card features the Teacup Shaker embellished with all things Christmasy. I shopped my stash for snowflakes, greenery, and sweet treats and sprinkled almost everything with glitter for plenty of sparkle. An Eyelet Rectangle and the Candy Cane Stripes were the perfect pairing for this whimsical holiday card.

My first step was to create the stenciled background panels. For the Candy Cane Stripe, I used Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide Ink on white cardstock. For the ivory Eyelet Rectangle, I stenciled just the snowy layer from the Layered Penguins stencils with white stencil paste and quickly sprinkled it with glitter before the paste set. Then I layered these panels together and set them aside while I got to work die-cutting all the elements for the Christmas teacup. 

For my die-cutting, I chose a more traditional color palette of evergreen, classic red, and teal cardstock accented by a small amount of kraft cardstock. I added a little shading to most of the diecuts with coordinating ink colors and a small blending brush. I also added glitter to the snowflakes and the sweet treats by brushing on a thin layer of glue and then dipping the pieces into the glitter jar. 

Next I arranged the diecuts on my background panel and attached them with either foam squares or glue. I attached the teacup first and then tucked the other elements in and around it. To finish things up, I added a scripty sentiment that I heat embossed with white embossing powder on evergreen cardstock and then die cut using the coordinating die. The finishing touch was to add a few highlights with a white gel pen.

Hi crafty friends! Debbie here with the new adorable Penguin Mug Dies from the Winter Release! How much cuter can it get packed with snow many cuties! 

I knew right away I had to play with the new Penguin Mugs after the last release with the Gingerbread Mugs! I can’t wait to see what Pretty Pink Posh has planed for future mugs!

For my card today I started off by die cutting out the Penguin mug, sticking with black and white of course. And then I went with oranges to match his beak and flippers, using a polka dot pattern paper from my stash. I used glitter card stock for my marshmallows, I like them to have that sugary look! I wanted to have a Cinnamon Stick for my hot cocoa, so I went through my stash and found the handle of the small spoon from Easter Mug Additions Die Set. 

Next,  with the Twinkle Stencil and a standard A2 white panel on a grip mat. I applied a thin layer of silver glitter paste over the stencil. Set it to the side to dry and cleaned up my area. Once it was dry, I die cut out the Twinkle panel with the largest Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die.

Then with the Snowy Hills Border Dies, I die cut out white glitter card stock for glistening snow. Next, I used the same Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die to die cut out the snow borders. 

For my sentiment, I went with the Let it Snow stamp set. I stamped and white heat embossed the “Snow” and the “Let It” then with the coordinating die I die cut out the Snow. For the “Let it” I used the Sentiment Strip Dies to cut out the Let It sentiment.

With that being saiid, I had to add in some snowflakes! I used the two snowflakes from the Christmas Holder Addition Dies. I went a little extra and added some Clay Snowflakes from the Winter Wonderland Mix to the centers of the snowflakes. 

The last final touches I added white highlights and Glossy Accents to the beak. I think it turned out so cute with the unusual winter color combination.

To create this background, I swiped ink pads and dotted reinkers onto a piece of acetate, misted with water and “smooshed” it onto some smooth watercolor cardstock.

Tips for smooshing success…

• make sure to use cardstock that can handle water without pilling or falling apart.
• acetate/plastic is super flexible so it is easy to customize the shape of your “smoosh”.
• experiment with other slick surfaces too like acrylic blocks or even the lid of your MISTI.
• use colors that will mix harmoniously and/or dry between colors to keep from making “mud”.
• if dry panels are warped, try running through a laminator or your die cut machine (with no dies).
• start with a whole stack of cardstock panels because it’s super fun & you will want to keep going once you start!

Hi friends, it’s Christina! ‘Tis the season to deck the halls, and I have a festive card to share with you today featuring the popular Build an Ornament die set. This set comes with a ton of different decorative embellishments so you can customize your ornaments however you like. I chose a simple red, white, and silver color palette and added some Christmas greenery to spruce things up! These holiday ornaments pop on a tone-on-tone Twinkle background, and a fun Candy Cane Stripes background completes the festive look. Take a peek at the supplies I used, and then we’ll get started!

I started my card by creating the stenciled background panels first. For the Candy Cane Stripes, I used Pine Needles Distress Ink on white cardstock. For the Twinkle pattern, I die-cut the largest Wonky Stitched Rectangle from ivory cardstock and stenciled the pattern using Opaque Matte Texture Paste. I layered these panels together and then moved on to building the ornaments. 

I chose a classic red cardstock for the base of my ornaments and used white and silver glitter cardstock for the decorative elements. I added some of the decorative elements to the small ornaments too so they would coordinate with the larger ornaments. Then I arranged them on my background panel and attached them with thin foam squares. I topped each ornament with a matte silver cap and finished them up by tucking some greenery around the larger ornaments. 

Next, I added a Christmas Banner Greeting heat embossed with white embossing powder on an evergreen cardstock banner and attached it with more thin foam squares. The finishing touch was to add a few Metallic Silver Pearls for a little something shiny.

Hi friends! Justin here, and today, I am sharing some sweet Christmas inspiration using the Christmas Cake Pops Dies! I had this thought that I could JUST use the Christmas Tree Triangle to create an abstract Christmas Card that also has a merry pastel holiday palette!

Now, let’s get merry and talk about how this card came together!

For this card, I ceded to use a color palette of Pink, Red, Light Green, Green, and Light Blue. I grabbed these colors of colored cardstock, and I die cut the various tree triangles and cake pop decor from these card stocks and put them aside.

I decided on my cake pop trees being 3 different colors, and I distressed the edges with the coordinating color of Distress Oxide ink for some shading. Of course, I needed to splatter the trees as well! I then decorated each of the trees with the various sprinkle shapes I cut out earlier.

I prepared 2 different background. The first was a piece of light green cardstock with the darker green ink blended over the Candy Cane Stripes Stencil. Then, I took the largest die from the Eyelet Rectangles set and cut the shape from white paper. I blended the edges with Light Pink Distress Oxide Ink, and splattered this as well.

I heat embossed the sentiment “Joyful Holiday Wishes” from the Christmas Banner Greetings stamp set in white powder on red cardstock, and cut the sentiment out using the Banner Greetings 1 dies.

I adhered the trees and the sentiment with foam tape to my eyelet background. Then, I realized I had a LOT of remaining sprinkle die cuts, and decided to use them to decorate the rest of the eyelet panel. I took this panel, and adhered it to my Candy Cane Stripe Background.

Finally, I adhered this panel to an A2 size card base. My card was fully completed!

Hello crafty friends, it’s June! Today I’m back with a holiday card using mostly products from last year’s Christmas release. I still love all of the products, the entire release was right up my alley and still, there was one product I hadn’t used yet: the Fringe Tree. It’s a fairly simply card with not too many details or ink blending/coloring, so it would be a perfect one to make assembly line style if you still need more Christmas cards to send out in time for the holidays!

I cut my tree from sage green cardstock and splattered some darker green ink on my pieces to give them some nice texture. Putting the fringe die cuts together is always such a fun thing to do, I love curling up all the fringes! I embellished my tree with the star included in the set and of course also added the tree trunk. You probably know me by now and I love adding bows wherever possible, so I added the one from the new Christmas Bell Shaker on top of the tree aswel. For both the star and bow, I added a little ink blending as well as gel pen details. 

I cut out the Snowflake Shaker without the inside piece to turn it into a shaker, making it a perfect backdrop for my tree. This contrasts nicely with the brown Eyelet Rectangle I used as my card panel. I added white paint splatters so it wouldn’t look as plain.

For my sentiment, I cut the Holly Jolly Shadow from pink cardstock to match the pink I brought in with the bow. I backed it with the shadow piece cut out of vellum. To add even more pink accents, I also added a sentiment strip saying ‘fa la la la’, which is a sentiment included in the Winter Birds stamp set. 

This was one of the quickest cards I ever put together, so I hope it can inspire anyone who still needs to get some more Christmas cards done in time during this busy season. I do love my detailed cards that take hours, but I also love how card elements like the ones from the fringe collection are not only quick to put together, but they also fill up a card easily so you don’t need to put much thought into the rest of the card. Easy peasy!

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I’m very happy to be back on the blog with this black & white winter themed card showcasing items from the November 2025 release: Penguin Holder and Winter Trees. I absolutely adore all the penguin products from this release, and those trees are sooo beautiful, I want to use them on all my cards now!

I started off with the background, cut a Pierced Snowflakes panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, and covered it with hickory smoke oxide ink. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters all over my panel, I did the same with black soot oxide ink for contrast and the same again with brushed pewter mica spray for sparkles, and finally I turned this background into a snowy sky using the Snowfall stencil along with opaque white grit paste.

I cut another Pierced Snowflakes panel out of white cardstock, added the same details and texture as the ones I added to the snowy panel, and once dry, I used a Snowy Hill Border die to cut a wavy border out of my panel. I attached that border to my background panel using 1mm foam squares, and then moved on to the die cutting process.

I cut all the bits and pieces out of dark grey, light grey, white, silver glitter, black glitter, orange cardstock, and a snowflake pattern paper. Here is a detailed list of the die sets I used: • Penguin Holder – penguin • Winter Trees – trees • Christmas Holder Additions – ear muffs, snowflakes • Christmas Bucket Additions – snowflakes • Valentine Bucket Additions – heart cheeks • Fall Mug Additions – scarf.

I added white splatters and liquid stardust splatters to the grey trees, liquid stardust to the white trees and snowflakes, and white splatters to the scarf.

I let everything dry, and then assembled all my pieces starting with the trees. I purposely shifted them a little bit to get silver glitter borders under each branch. I assembled the snowflakes using tiny pieces of 1mm foam squares in the center to add dimension. I put my cute Penguin Holder elements together, gave him a scarf, ear muffs, a pair of googly eyes and two glittery heart cheeks, added glossy accents to his beak and feet, and placed a large snowflake in his flappy hands.

Next I attached everything to my card using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, starting with the trees in the back, next my Penguin Holder in the foreground, and then the snowflakes here and there.

I white heat embossed “Let it snow” from Let It Snow on black cardstock, cut it with the matching die and then attached it in the bottom left hand corner of my panel using foam squares again. And for the final details, I picked some snowflake confetti from the Winter Wonderland mix and glued one in the center of each snowflake.

Hello, Gemma here today to share a card with one of my favourite colour schemes for Christmas – grey, black and gold.

Pretty Pink Posh s lots of fabulous layering stencils which look great with this colour combo. I chose the Layered Winter Wreath stencil set, which has three layers.

I cut a panel of 6×6 white card. As this is the same size as the stencils, it’s easier to line up the layers.

I used distress oxides in Hickory Smoke and Black Soot for two of the layers. For the final stencil layer, I used Nuvo Glacier Paste in Golden Era. This has lots of pearlescent shine and really stands out against the monochromatic colours.

Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it down slightly and adhered it to a 6×6 card base.

For the sentiment, I used the Large Merry Shadow die set. I cut the script word from gold glitter card, adding two white layers behind for dimension. I die cut the shadow layer from vellum, adhering the script word on top.

I stamped a greeting from the Holiday Scripts stamp set, adding the large Merry shadow word above to finish.
